Palu, August 25, 2025 – The Indonesian Ministry of Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform (PAN-RB) conducted an assessment of the Integrity Zone (ZI) development at Mutiara SIS Al-Jufri Airport in order to achieve a Corruption-Free Zone (WBK). This assessment is part of an evaluation to determine the extent to which government agencies are able to implement bureaucratic reform, eliminate corruption, collusion, and nepotism, and provide quality public services.
The assessment process was conducted via a Zoom meeting on Monday (8/25), which was attended by officials and employees of the Mutiara Sis Al-Jufri Airport BLU Office. In the next stage, the assessment will continue with a panel process and field verification by a national assessment team.
The PAN-RB Ministry Assessment Team stated that the ZI assessment focuses on six areas of change, namely:
1. Establishment of Change Agents
2. Motivation of Human Resources
3. Signing of Integrity Pact and Service Announcement
4. Character Building with Korem Tadulako
5. Financial Education with the Central Sulawesi Provincial OJK
6. Publication of Integrity Zone
“This effort is a joint commitment to realize governance that is free from corruption while ensuring improved quality of public services. Institutional integrity is expected to strengthen the trust of the community and stakeholders,” said the Ministry of Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform Integrity Zone Assessment Team.
Meanwhile, the Head of BLU UPBU Mutiara SIS Al-Jufri, Mr. Prasetyo Hadi, ST., SH., MH., emphasized that the development of the Integrity Zone is an important step in line with the increasing strategic role of the airport after it was designated as an international airport through KM 37 of 2025.
“As the gateway to Central Sulawesi, Mutiara SIS Al-Jufri Airport plays an important role in supporting national priority programs, ranging from strengthening logistics, downstreaming the Morowali industrial area, developing the Palu Special Economic Zone, to increasing sustainable tourism. With its international status, this airport is expected to facilitate the flow of goods, services, investment, and community mobility, as well as strengthen the competitiveness of the Eastern Indonesia Region,” explained Prasetyohadi. Furthermore, he added that the existence of Mutiara SIS Al-Jufri Airport is not only a transportation hub but also a driving force for regional development in Central Sulawesi through the creation of business opportunities, job creation, and improved public service quality.
“Since 2018, Mutiara SIS Al-Jufri Airport has consistently strived to build an Integrity Zone through various innovations, strengthening governance, and improving public services. The hope is that in 2025, these long struggles will pay off with the achievement of the Corruption-Free Zone (WBK) title, thereby strengthening public trust and encouraging all airport personnel to continue to maintain integrity and provide the best service,” explained Prasetiyohadi.
“With the achievement of WBK status, we hope that Mutiara SIS Al-Jufri Airport can serve as a model for other units in building an integrity zone free from corruption.”
